Feisty 5pms

Dead. No chance. Then came 5pm and things started to shape up a bit. 5 mins later, a line of dark ripples started unfolding. Drawing in from afar. The tension in the arms started to build up and the feeling's right. Hooked on and developed into a consistent drive through the chops. The tension eased off as the speed picked up. The foot straps were biting into my skin and for sure there were going to be cuts. But thats something to worry about later. Not now.

That was the moment. A given time. A given chance. Let there be no one, no nothing to interfere. That moment belonged to us. The setting sun bathed the sea and everything around us copper-tone. Like the hues on a beer advertisement. Life is wonderful once again. The wind never stopped till we decided to end the day as the sun saw us back to shore. And we shall talk about that moment for the next few days like a coffeeshop topic. Fantasing about the magic hour. The feisty hour.

Best ever? I wish there was never an "ever" but a forever.

3 mths and it was well packed and well spent. Hols is ending. School is starting. But im still soaking up the remnants of whatever hols is left and optimising the hours and minutes left before the term starts all over again. Chances are it would take a few weeks before I can put things in perspective. I'm guessing i would still be dreaming of the wonderful lifestyle it has been for the past 3 mths. But all good things have to come to an end, like it or not. Post hols blues. Whats the big deal? At least time wasnt wasted.
