"Never challenge Higher authority!!"

Ya that maybe true during NS days but as civilians, we should exercise our rights even in a pseudo-democratic society. But, ya its tough lah. Those who rise up against authority often gets shoot down without even knowing what's left of their body, maybe just the lower torso for running far far away and never to return.

What is courage? Doing something without any notion of the risks involved and driven by no apparent and worthy objective isn't courage but a foolish act. So is it courageous to challenge higher authority? That of course depends on the driving force behind the act.

Not so recently something not so dramatic happened which led me to question about courage. Passe. Forget about the narration. Its to do with an education system and its rigidity and a bucket load of angst. Ya nuff said.

"Never challenge Higher authority!!"
Ya lor, there you have it.Its human nature to go against words like "never", "dont". The more you say "don't" or "never", the more we just want to break the rules and go against them.

That golden phrase still brings back memories. If i was asked to give a quote regarding my 2 and a half years in army, that will be it. Its a joke. Really sia.
