Spinning on a merry-go-round of delusions
You might not build it overnight
But you can surely try to tie the stitch And thread it tight.
Find something essential and Don’t bother with all the details.
If you look too hard its hard to find.
Cause it’s the ordinary that makes you extraordinary.
The light we all see.The best in everything.
Its unpredictable, those countless little things.
Like the familiar face you never did expect to see.
Some things are always meant to be, we just
Choose what we choose to see.
You’ve got to choose to live that way.
Face each day like its your last, and you will never need a second chance.
But when you’re laughing with your friends, Don’t you dare forget the moment never lasts.Ordinary, ordinary….It’s the ordinary that makes you extraordinary
The light we all see.The best in everything.
Don’t feel ordinary, we’re all extraordinary. The light we all see.
The best in everything. Face each day like its your last,
And you will never need a second chance.
When i 1st caught "The jacket" it reminded me of what my friend suggested about life. I still remembered how refreshing the idea was especially when there were so many cliche versions to explaning existence in the context of science, religion, what have you. He said our so-called present life is actually a reflection of the past and we are all re-living our memories; when in actual fact, we no longer exist as who we think we are now. This suggestion provides many compelling reasons as to why certain things happen. Our physical world is just a recollection of our past lives. Like a hologram. There will be certain grey areas that information doesnt store well and such loopholes appear to us in the form of unexplainable phenomena or objects. Such instances include supernatural sightings, deja vu, etc. Is life really a sensation of re-experiencing our past memories?
